For those wanting to use a Windows Mobile device, Enterprise Hub includes Mobile Active Sync. Mobile ActiveSync is a communication protocol that enables mobile, "over-the-air" access to your e-mail messages, schedules, contacts, tasks lists, and other Exchange Server mailbox data.
This enables your Four Lakes hosted email account to be accessible via Windows based handsets such as XDA’s, IPAQ’s and Smart-Phones.
The Mobile ActiveSync protocol also provides for control over mobile devices, including the ability to remotely connect to the device and enforce security policies. For example, if a mobile is stolen (and today everyone’s always contains confidential data) then simply advise Four Lakes accordingly.
The Four Lakes technology enables us to remotely access the mobile, and then utilising your password, Four Lakes activates a routine that erases your confidential data.
